Christina Nagy Ernst, Owner
Christina has traveled her entire life, thus inspiring her passion to pursue a career in the travel industry. Since graduation from high school, she has worked in the travel industry. In 1996 she began assisting her Austrian-American father with unique German, Swiss and Austrian Tours. She and her father are known in the industry as the forerunners in leading Christmas Market Tours to Europe. VIP Alpine Tours also operates as VIP Travel and VIP Southern Tours with their headquarters in Cleveland, Georgia, where Christina was raised.
Christina’s geographical expertise includes Europe because of her Austrian background and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Caribbean, the USA including Hawaii, as well as Mexico, Central America, New Zealand and Tahiti. She also has in depth knowledge of the Southern USA. She prides herself in keeping up to date with the ever changing world of travel and has the knowledge and information to organize any type of vacation tailored to your personal needs.
One of her numerous achievements was organizing Georgia’s largest consumer travel expo in 2005 and 2006,over 40 international travel vendors and destinations were on hand to help bring consumers the world. Because of her direct contacts with these top officials in the travel industry have made Christina one of the most sought after travel counselors in the U.S.
Christina has been hosting and escorting tours to Europe for 14 years and has shared her cultural and travel experiences with hundreds of travelers. Her in-depth knowledge of the touring background has been the grounds for forming her new company, VIP Southern Tours. The Southern USA has so many beautiful sites and wonders, and after being a tour operator and working with numerous companies, Christina felt it was time to share her backyard with the world. VIP Southern Tours specializes in the Southeast with a main focus on Georgia and Florida.

Bernie and Linda Nagy, Tour Operators and Tour Hosts
Bernie and wife, Linda, have 33 years experience as importers and retailers of catalog merchandise from Europe. As an importer Bernie crossed the Atlantic close to 400 times. Bernie is a certified travel specialist for Germany, Austria and Switzerland and has visited most European countries including Eastern Europe and the Middle East. In 1993 Bernie founded and was president of a ski club in north Georgia. Bernie arranged and hosted ski and sightseeing tours to destinations in the US, Canada, Europe and New Zealand.
When their daughter, Christina, graduated from travel school and college it seemed logical to establish a travel business. In 1996 Bernie, Linda, and Christina, founded VIP-Alpine Tours.
For VIP Alpine Tours, Bernie has researched and organized escorted specialty theme tours to the heart of Europe. Each tour evolved as a result of his expertise and travel knowledge gained from uncountable trips to Central Europe. He and wife Linda occasionally host tours to Europe for VIP Alpine tours.
Now in semi-retirement, Bernie and Linda spend most of the year in Colorado where Bernie was a ski instructor for Vail Resorts for six years. Linda is a watercolor artist and instructor and member of Women of Watercolor. Together she and Bernie enjoy living in the high country of the Colorado Rockies where they hike and four wheel in the summer and ski and snow-shoe in the winter. Recently Bernie published a photo coffee table book, Colorado?s South Park, High Country Paradise. It has won several awards including Best international essay book. Linda was editor and contributor to the book and they are now working on a second book.

Andrea Ferguson, Independent Travel Consultant
Andrea Ferguson, a native of Hiawassee, Georgia is part of the VIP Travel team. Andrea loves to travel and has visited numerous destinations across the USA including Hawaii as well as the Caribbean, and has cruised on numerous cruise lines. Andrea is also an Disney Specialist, and looks forward to being one of the first on the Disney Dream Cruise inaugural in January 2011. Andrea is located in Northeast Georgia and would be happy to assist you in all your travel needs.

Laura Wickiser
Laura Wickiser is also new to the travel business but has had a passion for travel since her first trip to NYC as a young girl. She took her first trip to Europe in 1999 and has since gone back five times. Some of her favorite places in Europe are Malta, Amsterdam, Prague, Malaga Spain, Ireland and Salzburg. She also has traveled extensively in the Caribbean to Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and most recently on her honeymoon to Curacao. Laura also enjoys photography, movies and spending time with her husband and four animals. She lives in Atlanta and works at an award winning Latino tapas restaurant.
